Exercise Routine

So, I have to say I've enjoyed going to the YMCA here in town and doing classes, but our free month is up.  So I have a punch card to do some classes, but this won't cover all my exercise needs to get back where I want to be.  So, I have compiled a new playlist for running on the treadmill, and while I didn't do it exactly how I want to I had some good results today!

The playlist was set on shuffle, so I didn't do exactly what I wanted but here's the plan of what I'm going to work up to...
1.)  Good Time- by Owl City and Carly Rae- warm up walk from 2.5 miles an hour up to 3.5 during song at 2% incline.
2.) Give Me Everything- Pitbull- Jog at 4.5 mph still at 2%
3.) Promisuous- Nelly Furtado- Run at 5.0 mph, still at 2%
4.) Timber- Pittbull- Run at 5.5 mph, still at 2%
5.)  Gone,Gone, Gone- Phillip Phillips- walk at 3.5 mph, up to 3% incline.
6.) Pump It- Black Eyed Peas- Jog at 4.5 mph, at 3%
7.) The Rock Show- Blink 182- Run at 5.0, at 3%
8.) Good Feeling- Flo Rida- Run at 5.5 at 3%
9.) I Like it Like That- Hot Chelle Rae- Walk at 3.5 or 3.7 at 2% incline
10.) Talk Dirty- Jason Derulo- Run at 5.0, 2% incline
11.) Can't Hold Us- Macklemore & Ryan- Run at 5.5, 2% incline
12.) Wild Wild Love- Pittbull- Run at 6.0, 2% incline
13.) I'm Yours- Jason Mraz- Walk at 3.5, 2% incline
14.) I Walk Alone- Oleander- Cool down- gradually from 3.0 down to 1.5 and 0% incline.

I will probably switch around the running songs as I get used to this playlist- some songs just work best to pump me up to run faster.  When I have worked up to this list as is I will post the calories burned/time it takes and miles it is!  So I'm sticking to the Y for toning classes and cardio will be this list- if I don't have a lot of time I can just do one set and get over a mile done!

Preparation is key

So, as the title says, preparation is key.  For anyone starting or renewing diet and exercise routine you need to prepare so you don't fail.  So in preparation for getting back on track I've done the following...

So...I'm starting with another 10 day cleanse from Advocare.  With this I will use the orange juice to help drink the fiber drinks and Spark for extra energy if needed.  I also have my Catalyst, Thermoplus and Omega-3 from Advocare to supplement, boost metabolism and eat away fat.  Along with this, I have my Advocare Meal Replacement Shakes and a ton of soup.
I made three different kinds of soup- my rice and veggie soup, magic weight loss soup, and weight watcher's soup.
My plan is for breakfast either having oatmeal or a meal replacement shake.
Lunch will be either soup or a meal replacement shake.
Dinner will be a healthy family meal with protein and vegetables.
Snacks will be fresh fruit, boiled eggs, or special K snacks.
Of course tons of water is a must!
And then I have also ordered the Greens and Wraps from the It Works- so we'll see how that may get worked into my plan.
I will do cardio every day on my treadmill at home, and I have a pass for 10 classes at the Y where I will continue with classes that tone and strengthen.
With a good plan, hopefully we can see some good success! :)

Trying something new...

So, I was introduced to It Works this week.  This company sells wraps that help decrease cellulite by taking out toxins through the skin and you super hydrate while doing it so your kidneys can take out the rest.  They also sell a product called Greens that gives you a full days worth of fruits and veggies in one drink.
Here's my results from the wrap.....and when they say have you tried this crazy wrap thing they mean crazy!
Photo: Results from my Wrap party tonight this is AMAZING!!! everyone tonight saw results after 45 minutes it still continues to work for 3 days!!! Can u imagine a full apllication wow!!!!! They all are Sold on this product. What are you waiting for It Works and I'm ready to help you!!!! Contact me for info󾬔󾬔󾬔
Yes.  I will be buying these wraps to help.  I am still on my Advocare too!  I feel like the products can work together great.  The Advocare, eating well and exercise do the work on the inside, and the wraps work on the outside.  I also am buying the greens mostly for Ella- gets all her fruits and veggies in and will help get her bowels regular.  I would give it to Eli, but he already eats tons of fruits and veggies and has lots of BMs.  We might try, but I'm starting with Miss Ella.
If you want to check this out see this webpage- http://SarahLeMaster.sharewraps.com
I am not a distributor for this company.  A friend from work is.
I am also going to start my 10 day cleanse soon, so another before/after picture will be coming.  I've also been keeping up with classes at the Y- so I'm working on getting buff and beautiful! :)  Although my husband says I'm already beautiful and will never be buff!

Oh my muscles!

Week 3 at the YMCA doing classes and I'm sore from the neck down.  Actually I can feel muscles just sitting here typing.  I've done some awesome classes though!
Here's some of what I've done:
TNT- tighten and tone- little cardio, lots of toning muscles.  I think this is what is killing my legs today!

RIP- High intensity cardio and toning- lots of bars, lunges, weights to music.  Maybe this didn't help the legs.
Tabata- 20 seconds of killing yourself, 10 second rest, repeat.  Do I say more?

Yoga- Muscle toning and tightening with respect to breathing.  It may seem like a easy exercise, but I do end the week sore and sweaty.  There is cardio involved and ends with a nice relaxation.

Cycling- I've only done once because of time constraints, but it was a good workout that ended with a toning session.

Step- I've only done once but look forward to next week hopefully working out.  It's harder for me than the other because you need coordination that I don't always excel in :).

I'm still doing the Catalyst from Advocare to protect my new muscles to get rid of fat!  I'm getting definition in my arms and legs for sure, and I can feel abs under my stomach padding.  That's what gets you through the soreness- the results!
Plus the kids love going to the Y and ask to go.  Especially Eli- he's made lots of friends plus some of his friends from Daycare are there.
Until next time!

Grad school done!

I'm done!  In two weeks, I will walk across a stage to get a piece of paper that says I'm awesome!  (okay, maybe that's a little exaggeration, but hey, I lived through it and that should count for something!)
So my goals now that school is done: get a job in Florida, move there, live happily ever after.  Not so hard, right?  Hmmm, I better pray some more for this.  :)
So Eli is being his awesome complicated health self.  We can do soy and egg now, but we went to the dentist and he has some congenital tooth decay- meaning some of the baby teeth didn't form right in his gums and he'll have to have some fillings since these baby teeth will be in his mouth for about 8 more years.  Ugg.  We also will be getting several warts removed because they are spreading and annoying.  Yet another traumatic experience for me at least, probably him too.
In exercise world, I'm getting back on the band wagon with a free month at the YMCA.  Last week I went to Yoga, Step Class, Cycling and Tighten and Tone (TNT) class.  Lyle and I also went together on Saturday and did some cardio and weights.  I was majorly sore, but oh it was great!
This week, I have done a Zumba class so far, and tonight I will do Cycling again.  Tomorrow will be TNT and Friday another Yoga.  It's a nice change up from just the treadmill and will hopefully turn my muscles into lean, mean fat burning machines!  Plus I'm using my Catalyst from Advocare! This will protect these new muscles and help burn the fat off!  Lyle has been helping me figure out what lifting/strength stuff to do to tighten and tone my muscles without bulking up.
Oh!  And the best thing about last week!  I showed Lyle up on one workout thing that I could do and he couldn't!  Boom!  (never mind he could do A LOT that I couldn't, I don't remember that part...  ;)  )

Soups on

So today was soup day.  I have been on vacation for two weeks, and not been the greatest about the diet, so I'm getting back on track with some planning and soup.  I made two kinds of vegetable soup- one called the Magic weight loss soup, and one that is a weight watchers soup. Both have a little different flavors, different but a lot of veggies, and are yummy.  Both recipes I got off of pinterest.
The first is the weight watchers soup.  It has spinach, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, tomatoes, and veggie broth.  Here's the picture:
Next is the "magic weight loss soup".  This has Italian diced tomatoes, V-8 juice, chicken broth, onions, carrots, mushrooms, garlic, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, and cabbage.  Here's the picture:

So I made a crockpot full of the magic soup, and a huge kettle of the other soup, and bought these cheapy Tupperware so I can put some in the freezer for lunches the next two weeks.

My plan is to do the Advocare meal replacement shakes for breakfast, these soups or a salad for lunches, and a healthy well rounded dinner.  :)  I'll keep you up to date.

24 days complete!

Sunday was day 24 of my Advocare 24 day challenge!  I am surprised and pleased with my results, especially since a few days I fell off the bandwagon eating good wise!  But inches are off, weight is off and pictures look great!  I'm going to keep eating well and exercising and plan on doing another picture in a month!  I will also keep using my companion products- Catalyst and ThermoPlus along with another one called Leptilean!
Catalyst is  designed to protect your muscles while you burn fat=more inches off!
ThermoPlus is designed to help raise your metabolism overall through the day=more weight off!
Leptilean is designed to curb your appetite, so now that I'm done my with MNS supplements I still have help with appetite=eat less=keep it off!
In my opinion these all work and help, but these and all Advocare products aren't magic!  If you're ready to work with them they help you, not the other way around!
Here's my numbers...  First number is day 1- 1/10/2014, Second number is day 25- 2/3/2014
Chest- 39 3/4 inches, 36 inches
Waist- 40 inches, 36 1/2 inches
Hips- 42 1/2 inches, 42 1/2 inches
Right thigh- 22 inches, 19 inches
Left thigh- 21 3/4 inches, 20 inches
Weight- 170 lbs, 164 lbs

And the Pictures!

Like I said this isn't magic, but it works!  I did the treadmill or other cardio at least 15 minutes every day and up to an hour on days that I had time.  I tried to do some push-ups, planks and crunches or yoga on several days too!  Eat right, exercise and help from Advocare works for me!
